BARCO Announces New Reference Solution for Home Cinema Integration

BARCO Cine 9 makes the user enjoy real cinema quality at home
BARCO has introduced a new reference projector for integration in home cinemas and video editing studios: the Cine 9. Combining proven CRT technology with advanced electronics and optics, this projector offers the ultimate in contrast, black levels, color reproduction and resolution.


For home cinema, no other technology has ever reached the image performance of Barco’s CRT-based projectors. Today, Barco again breaks new grounds in projection technology for home cinema integration, introducing the Cine 9. This 9” CRT-based projection solution delivers images so true-to-life that they appear as bright and crisp as normal film, with unparalleled clarity, high peak whites and excellent black levels, rich contrast and exceptional color fidelity.

Unlike competitive projectors, this Cine 9 is not only designed to accommodate all analog video sources. It also displays all currently proposed HDTV, extended or improved TV standards in either 4:3 or 16:9 aspect ratio format, as well as computer data.
